I bought the Jigsaw package and through Pete I found the No BS Trading site for John Grady. He trades with just the DOM and will be using the Jigsaw platform (along with TT) a lot during this next webinar training session starting this Monday. I am a complete newbie to order flow trading but am very excited to learn this stuff and have already learned a lot with his basic course.
Thanks a lot for your comments.
As for time and sales window, yes, my opinion is that its better to enable time at time and sales with big prints but it is ok to use disabled the time option at small or all prints to see the flow.
Thanks for PriceActionSwing indi.
Yes, I understood that the entry was against the move but I saw a block of bid prints 93,75 - 92,75, after price broke support of the bracket and met support at 92.25 level and also we could see a lot of limit orders at 92.00. So, that was an argument to enter..
As for the tape action, how tape could hint about a reversal?
I'm actually trying to find any experience feedback regarding the quality of the esignal data feed. Apparently it is only available for use with 32bit Ninjatrader so I doubt anyone is using it. Seems the only option for Chinese futures markets at the moment, looking for a feed to the market in Hong Kong...
Do you attend John's couching sessions? Can you please give feedback after the whole course is done. I wanted to do it as well, but apparently don't have enough time cos of my job, so will try to attend it next time. Right now would like to hear some more about these courses.
My practice continues. Here's the first setup from yesterday. See pic:
I din't include the spot where big volume came out in the video. Basically there was a hold of the lvl on the bid side, a lot of big prints came in tape, but price didn't manage to push through. This is tipically what you want to see at the end of a pullback.
00:00 - 01:07 - we see a lot of selling in tape and DOM, big prints come out at 95.00 and 94.50. At 1:07 price penetrates 94.50 but at the very instance jumps back up and only 58 contracts trade at 94.25 then we see how 94.50 holds on bid. I think this is a good place to enter.
At 2:14 notice how big offer flashes at inside offer 1495.00 looks like someone trying tu lure in sellers, then shortly after that we see offer leave and 1495.00 gets bought out - second chance to long here at 1495.25
