I use Mirus but it really doesn't matter as long as they are NT compatible. The way it works is, I subscribe to both Zen-Fire AND IQFeed. Then I load IQFeed first, then load Zen-Fire. This makes IQF my primary datafeed for all my charts. When I execute a trade, it sends it via Zen-Fire (which is the only datafeed NT will allow to actually execute the trades. Fine with me. I just don't want to use Zen-Fire for main data until they can utilize 64 bit.
Could this package you use be the IQFeed Basic Service, which is for $60/month plus an additional stuff ? This should be OK with me if and only if the IQFeed will give me good Bid and Ask data-feed. I'll still contact Jay.
Didn't know where to go to get an answer so I apoligize if it doesn't belong here. Don't even have enough posts here to send a PM.
I'm also brand new to Ninjatrader. My problem is I can't figure out how to get an indicator The Wizard wrote. It's called: MACD BB LINES v2
I have downloaded it to my pc but can't figure out how to get it into NinjaTrader. It's in a zip file... things like this are so much simpler in Tradestation.
Thanks for your help and sorry to bother you,
Scott305
NinjaTrader Control Center - File - Utilities - Import Ninja Script.
Select the zip file (do not unzip it)
For all people who are starting with NinjaTrader or any other platform . If you have totally no experience with any Platform - NinjaTrader, Tradestation, Multicharts, etc. please do not rate that platform publicly.
I don't think that statement similar to "Tradestation is better than NinjaTrader" is worth time to type it if you need help with importing script.
tried that about 5 times before posting this... didn't work but thanks anyway
again- it shouldn't be this hard; probably has something to do with the no dll's rule... I dunno
NinjaTrader has lots of free webinars to teach you how to use it. Their support people are fairly responsive to requests sent by email through NinjaTrader.
