You guys should know that the 64 bit api for zenfire is beta.. I don't think it would be wise to trade live considering it just came out( consider it as if you were trading on ninja 7 beta 1, not really a good idea)...
Other than that, I still do the updates and keep a watch on ninja.... Glad to hear that they released a 64 bit adapter. I wish they would also do one with TT-fix, and hopefully soon, fix the bid/ask issue since they are at the latter stages of the beta process...
Feedback from any ninja tech guys on this would be nice..
Thank you and keep up the good work.
Not planning on trading it yet but testing connection and 64bit NT as this is the first opportunity I have had to use it. So far I can't see any advantages to it for the way I use NT but in the never ending search for an edge it doesn't hurt to play with the new stuff.
I want to share a tip to save your Ninja Trader setup file for the current version, so you can reinstall it in the future if a new version mess up everything, as it often happens.
The setup file you download and run from the Ninja website is not the real installation package. When executed, it downloads the real installation package and runs it.
download and run the setup file from ninja website
the real setup package is downloaded, you can see a progress bar
when the download ends, the setup starts
do not click on any advance button, let the setup wait for your input
go to explorer and do a file search for "ninja"
you should find the real package in some directory.
copy this file into your store directory
As an example, the setup file for the beta 20 was called NinjaTrader.Install v7b20.msi and was 49.1 MB.
Don't post it here, NinjaTrader will just ask I take it down. BTW, off-topic, we do allow attachments in private messages now. If the extension isn't listed just zip it before uploading.
