The issue with TS 9.1 already have been solved by TS and also Windows updates itself. I am running TS 9.1 and Windows 10 and I did not even downloaded the TS update.
Are you going to switch from TradeStation to NinjaTrader? Do not think NT is going to be a headache free solution, so good luck.
Good to know and I will certainly stay away from those then… I mean specially because I could not see anything impressive about TS 10 until now in terms of features and improvements, only a new logo with a new layout and colours.
Did they put out a hotfix for 9.1? When I asked earlier they said they were not planning on fixing 9.1, and that I had to move to 9.5 to get around the Windows issue. If 9.1 is working, I'd be happy to rollback TS! I have no interest in spending time learning another platform.
As of today, TS does not work on Windows 10 64bit. They say they are solving the problem, but it is not a good option to sot and wait for them to figure out whats wrong. In my opinion it is a bit problem.
I've sent TS a message directly asking if 9.1 will work with Windows 10 and will post their response when I receive it. Last month the answer was simply, 'no'.
9.5 does load with Windows 10..which is what I am using now, but the performance is terrible relative to 9.1 on pre-updated Windows 10.
My laptop with Windows 7 and 9.1 works flawlessly.
Well that was the best I can do for you, if does not work then phone the TS support. [better than email IMO]
But I am running TS 9.1 and Windows 10 as of today...
Well...just to avoid this horrible DOM lag, for now I've just rolled back the Windows update and went back to 9.1. Was on hold for 45min on TS support and gave up. I'll wait to see if they answer the 9.1 hotfix question via email and post the reply w/e it arrives.
Also reduced most of the Windows visual enhancement optional features Solidus recommended in another post.
Side tip...turn off anything doing 'intrabar updates that you don't need real-time. Makes a big difference on the EL utilization monitor although really a separate thing...
