OK Ron, first thanks for bringing this to my attention. I was able to duplicate the HTTP 413 error. It is a result of me altering a setting on our web server, and now I've undone that change and put it back to the old value.
I confirmed this solved the upload problem. This would affect anyone trying to upload large files.
Generally speaking, people use JPG's for screenshots because they are very small -- like 100kb maybe, instead of a BMP which is a lossless format and 20-30x times larger. If you need lossless, you should use PNG instead of BMP, it's far more efficient.
Regardless, even though BMP is not popular, someone would have had the same problem if they were uploading a large ZIP or RAR archive file. So thank you, it is now fixed.
For the screencast problem, I will have to look into that -- but I suspect it's because you are using BMP's and they cannot be embedded correctly. I think it should work fine with JPG or PNG.

Glad together we made FIO that much better....I never even pay attention to what type of file my screen captures with Snagit save as ..... shame on me.... from now on I will.... I want to have a light foot print out of respect for you in terms of storage space... benefits me too to use JPG or PNG as I never really delete these pics off my machines and they just take up HD space.
Thank you for making me more aware of file sizes.

I just realized this, the issue with the screencast bbcode not working for me might be a problem with the code itself, right? I place a url between the codes beginning and end not a file type.
Sometimes I have noticed, at least in the tapatalk white labeled iPhone app, a space gets somehow added to the front of the url and whatever code I’m using doesn’t work. But I don’t see that problem here with the screencast code.
Does anyone else have an issue with the screencast bbcode?
Tough one to test if you don’t use a Techsmith product and their screencast site.
Thanks for reporting - first time I've seen it mentioned. I'll have to check into this a bit later though, right now we are SUPER busy with all the events going on. Please remind me in a couple weeks if I haven't responded.
We will be creating a new AMA thread for Earn2Trade in the next few days. Please look for that if you have any questions you want to ask about their products and services.

OK I've duplicated the issue. Due to the age of this, I have no idea what broke this because I don't know what was changed a year ago.... I'll have to send off to our programmer to try and figure out, it's one of hundreds of our plugins that is causing an error somehow.
It is my pleasure to announce that @tturner86 and @xplorer are now Super Moderators on futures io. They are now wearing blue for their username
In our nine year history, we've primarily had just myself and @sam028 moderating the site. But I feel it is time to expand that, and @tturner86 and @xplorer are excellent choices that have demonstrated their value to the community.
They will help us deal with spammers even quicker than before, so please continue to hit the "Report Post" feature when you encounter a problem post, so our team can deal with it.
