How did the Muse work for you? I use a proteus mind machine and traditional Vipassana, but wanted to use the Muse while I trade to see my brainwaves in realtime.
Muse is useful if you are starting with meditation. Most of the time people get stressed about "not-being-in-meditative-state" whilst meditating. Learning to just sit and let go is the key. Once you are aware of your feelings, emotions and energy associated with them as felt in your body, you dont need a device to identify triggers. But Muse is a fascinating tool, it definitely helps with meditation, write some ml programs etc. I prefer to raise my awareness rather than resorting to a tool to tell me how I feel. That being said, it will definitely send you a trigger so that you can consciously start deep breathing or other meditative exercises. indeed a useful tool when you start out.
At the current moment, I am using an HP desk top with some additional goodies on the inside and I have an HP elite book for a back up/ travel work station. Keyboard and mouse are a Logitech wifi system with a cored mouse for a back up. Will be upgrading to a gamer key board and mouse very soon. Also keep a few different journals on the desk, the one right under the keyboard is for all my pre trading notes as well as what I'm seeing throughtout the day. Always try to keep flowers on the desk to lighten the mood at times.
Using an ikea sit stand desk with a crank, the chair is also from ikea
Poster for motivation !
Use skull candy wireless headphones, with a pair of blue blockers and hand gripper when I get a little bored or angry.
Under the desk I currently have all the permanent wires bundled up, keep a heat pad due to the fact I always have cold feet during the winter ( time to move to Florida!!)
Keep a tv mounted on the wall for slow periods, watch a lot of netflix, also have my self a nice little couch for the dog or when I need a break.
If you ever wondered why my grammar is a little weak well its because I look like this ....
Trading systems is mainly focused on trading price action, for the most part these are the only two charts I look at one is a 2500 tick NQ and the other is a 6000 tick NQ, inicators are pretty simple, a few ema's and a few auto lines to show HOY,COY.LOY, RTH open .. nothing fancy.
If you enjoyed the desk please drop a "thank you" below!!!
@Big Mike , any idea why these all turned to the side? they are straight when i embedded them.

Seriously organized workspace... that alone gives me ideas for improvement... cluttered area leads to cluttered mind... I know that for sure....good one. And yes the poster has some mojo.

How bout these markets?!!?
What you don't see or hear is the background music, it has to be calming mellow music, I tried listening to my aggressive rock and it don't help especially when things aren't going according to plan which happens on occasion!
Anyway, what you see here are 3 individual systems, 1 system is a 55" monitor I7 24M RAM then moving right is another PC running 6-24" monitors I7 PC with 16M RAM and built by me, right of that and the last system I use is 2 monitors, the top is a 24" and the bottom is a 28" AMD Ryzen 1800x with 32M RAM also built by myself and this is the one I do all my trading on. The rest are just for reference and high probability levels that present themselves to me and I mark em' on the chart. Volume profile and orderflow are THE 2 most important aspect of my trading.
And when I'm done trading usually within an hour or two if all goes well I hit the desert on my 450x dirt bike and release some stress!
