yes, I read that post, thanks. I set the dataseries/objects to public in the code of the PAS so that I can access the values from the strategy, but still the only values that I got are zeroes.
Has anybody by any chance tried using NinjaTrader 7's on balance volume with this Indi?
As it's not an oscillator, and certainly not bound, it may not be suited ...
Hi,
Is there a newer version of the PriceActionSwing for NT8 than the one in the downloads area? The one in the downloads area is dated 2016 and only seems to to display some of the swing sizes and not all of them.
Thanks,
iq
Has anyone experienced the swings changing before price has crossed the point at which it should be changed? I have Swing Type = Standard and Swing Size =7. This means if there is a Swing up, it should not reverse to a Swing Down until price crosses below the lowest of the last 7 bars. I have had a couple of occasions where the swing has changed when price touches the low, but does not go below it. Is this MMs doing something to bars to throw out the indicator on the 6E? It has done this on one or two occasions before, since they recently reset the MIN pips on the 6E to 1/10th of a pip (which as far as I am concerned has no practical trading value apart from for them to send signals unseen, and to cause some indicators to pick up false changes). So if they make a price bar move by 1/10th of a pip past the swing point, the PAS indicator picks this up as a change in swing, which is a false change, as price needs to move 0.5 to 1pip past for a real change in the swing. Any ideas how to adjust the indicator so that it does not pick up these false positives?
