I'm a programmer trying to figure out what platform(s) to use.

I have many years of programming experience but no trading experience.
My business partner is a very experienced trader with little technical (read computer) knowledge.

We are trading intra day equities in multiple accounts. We don't want to implement automated trading but need to manually initiate a trade that will be applied to a dozen or more accounts. Having the trading client software open for each account is not feasible.

We want to be able to work with deep discount brokers including: TradeKing, Just2Trade, and SoGo

What platform will accomodate these requirements? How do they interface with the brokers?

Thanks.

assuming you are not a CTA, given your questions... I would say that you should look at IBKR and use their "Friends & Family" account which will allow you to "manage" and distribute trades across up to 15 accounts without registration... you have one single account open and the trades are distributed based on a number of different criteria..

I dont know of any other broker/fcm that wont require you to be registered otherwise... but as an FYI, regulation is less than 15 accounts under management require no registration..

The same is possible through AMP and Mirus, I believe up to 15 accounts.

I have a question before I give you further details:
Is this only for you and your partner or you plan to bring additional money from additional parties?
