Not knowing if you already have a Footprint indicator and are looking for a home for it or you want a Footprint indicator and a place to trade with it.

I'm a fan of the VLC indicator on NinjaTrader from volumeladdertrading dot com - one feature I like is that I can change views by just hitting the cntrl key- Images 4 and 5 are variations of the delta. It also contains Adjustable Value areas, Imbalance, absorption, Delta imbalances, A tape shot, session bar (shown last image) , Level 2 with adjustable imbalance, advanced tape shot similar to Jigsaw (shows inside bid ask, with ability to show order pulling and stacking) and has an iceberg
option, etc.

To answer the question on speed though. I have found that it is very resource hungry when all options are utilized and really only use it for context / review / homework analysis.

I would advise looking at several before you choose which footprint software.

This might sound a bit basic, but find one that visually speaks to you, the colours and tones make so much difference. You've got to be able to see the information easily without effort/strain.

You've got to decide what information you want from the FP. Lots or little... Some FP's put data (volume, delta etc) above and below the bars, while some put the stuff at the bottom of the page. I tend to like the uncluttered look. Its easy to get overload. But its each to his own...
