FYI: NT7 & NT8 were operating perfectly till Feb. 3rd close of business.
Starting both applications the morning of Monday Feb. 6th, both NT7 & NT8 produced a bunch of errors, stating no connection could be made to collect IBs realtime & historic data.
I sent all Trace & Log files to the Ninjas support platform and despite many exchanges the problems remain unsolved !
With respect to NT7, I understand that Ninja doesnt further develop, but they could at least leave the API data exchange UNCHANGED so the realtime & historic data continue to populate the charts. I dont understand that if theres no further development, why broker (IB) interconnection protocols are deleted or taken away ?
With respect to NT8, Im experiencing the same interconnection errors. Only a part of symbols (instruments) are updating, others (who used to update before Feb. 6th) doesnt work anymore. Platform support obviously cant find out whats wrong.
So the owner of NT just said they didn't train staff fully before changes.
"- NinjaTrader customer support staff have been training up on Web and Mobile, we are about to expand our support forum to include Web and Mobile categories so we can deliver the same level of support that you have grown accustomed to with the NinjaTrader platform over the past 20 years
If I (or any sane professional) were running a multimillion dollar brokerage and widely used platform I would train my staff before...no?!
So in summery the platform has broken for a lot of people and your staff aren't trained for your changes implemented.
I could not have said it better. As if ALL Vendors have integrity. With everything in life you have the good, the bad and the ugly. Vendors included. aka opportunists. Why isnt NinjaTrader doing more to screen these Vendors and why are they not protecting those of us who paid for a lifetime license?
I have been hurt financially by numerous Vendors, the last being JFRCB Trading. Because I left a review, I was banned from access to their indicator instructions/videos on their Discord.
Furthermore, when I try to warn others in the webinars, I have my chat deleted almost immediately.
NinjaTrader says contact so and so. I have. I have sent them details of my experiences, and never heard back. So my question? Why isnt NinjaTrader protecting their customers?
That's what I needed! Let me circle back early next week.

Your post will not be deleted here on FIO when you share an honest review, so please do.
But scam vendors be warned, we've developed a lot of tools in the last 14 years to detect when they are full of it and are just using fake accounts to write glowing reviews.
Those posts will be deleted, and no number of threats of lawsuits or actual lawsuits will change that.
Could someone point me in the direction of a good trading platform for US futures based in the US that doesn't have a CEO that has such blasé attitude to client care and staff training, his comment have immediately made me want to pull my account 8.00 am Monday.
Any advice greatly appreciated. I am based in Geneva, and trade with IG, IB, Swissquote, Fidessa but wish to have a USA based broker, and good functional platform for US futures.
My main point was that our support forum today, does not have a Web and a Mobile category(s) where users can post questions specific to these platforms and that these will be added shortly.
