I don't think that's the problem. FIO has always been in the trusted sites in NoScript, but to test this I have enabled all scripts for all sites that FIO brings in (cloudflareinsight, threadloom, etc.) and yet I get this when I try to copy and paste or upload an image
I can't tell if the image has even been attached here, it's not letting me close the Upload Image dialog box
EDIT: so I can attach the image as attachment but cannot embed it nor close the dialog box with the Close option, I need to close it with the Windows "X" button.
One, I adjusted the timeout period on the SLR script (any link in a newsletter uses our SLR system). SLR basically is a way to log you in, even if you aren't logged in, by authenticating you using your email address.
Previously, the timeout period was 72 hours. I have now raised it to 120 hours (5 days). This means that for those who take longer to read their emails, they will have up-to five days to click links in our newsletter and still have the benefit of being automatically logged in.
Just a side note: This system does not work for administrators, moderators, or vendors, out of an abundance of caution.
Second, I've seen a rather large increase in the number of Cloudflare Managed Challenges. That is basically when you see the black screen saying it's verifying you are a human.
How often are you guys seeing it? You should see it maximum once per week, if your IP address remains the same. If your IP frequently changes, you might see it maximum once a day.
If you do not see that text, it means something is being blocked. Then when you upload, it should work and you see the thumbnail:
If it isn't working, first please try another browser with no extensions blocking anything. Or you can try incognito if you've disabled those extensions from working in incognito.
If it still doesn't work, I'll ask you to produce some specific screenshots from the Inspect view showing the network requests.
I have disabled Threadloom search. It was not by choice, but they shutdown operations.
I have been researching some new search engines that will operate similarly to Threadloom, but that I can fully control. I hope to be able to implement something like that and offer you guys a much more powerful search.
It was Saturday morning and I needed to log on to futures.io to contact another member, but there was a problem. I couldn't log on. I couldn't get on the site even to report the problem.
My only recourse was to contact …
Since he was experiencing this issue, almost certainly others were as well. If so:
a) My apologies for the problem
b) We've been experiencing higher rates of DDoS attacks, so I had to turn up the sensitivity of defense software
c) Please feel free to report your problem here in the thread, so I know how widespread it was
d) If it should happen again, please feel free to email [email protected] and attach a screenshot. You can also try going straight to https://nexusfi.com/sendmessage.php which should always function regardless of any other issue, but if that fails, email the help desk directly.
Specifically, this section added to clarify long-standing policies or what were perhaps previously unwritten rules:
