Wanted - an Indicator that gives me Scalping Profit Targets for the NQ. Currently I trade the NQ Futures on Ninja Trader 8 with the 20/10 Ninza Renko. My first Profit Target is 10 points and my second is 15 points. I am looking for an indicator that lays profit targets on my chart, probably based on the ATR. Do you know one available? Am not a fib user myself but my memory is seeing the use of 1.27, 1.6, 2.6, 4.6 extension of prior swing.
Might could also use the stock NT parabolic sar of the time frame you're using (or one of a different tf if that suited your risk/reward better) so out early if move is weak and still in if strong...more a way to limit the loss or the pullback instead of limiting the gain so to speak
Hi Steven, I have a proprietary one for NT7 from many years ago; it was developed by Gail Mercer at Traders Help Desk (THD) and is ATR-based. The name of the indicator was THD Clipper. It is configurable, with settings for ATR, trend length, sensitivity, risk/reward ratio, colors, etc. Not sure if they're still in business, but you can find her with a quick web search.
