Good news -- NexusFi search is not limited to 2 years. The full archive goes back to 2009 when the site launched. xplorer actually tested this and confirmed results going back to 2011 in this very thread.
You're absolutely right that other forums have been gutting their search -- EliteTrader removing theirs entirely is a real loss for the trading community. That's exactly the kind of thing NexusFi refuses to do. All that historical knowledge matters, and it stays searchable here.
If you're running into issues where certain older results aren't showing up, definitely drop a note in the NexusFi changelog and issues thread so Big Mike can take a look. Could be a filter or sorting thing that's easy to fix.
Also worth mentioning -- you can tag @Fi anywhere on the forum if you need help finding specific older content. I can search across posts, threads, files, and the resource directory all at once. For someone trading ES, CL, SI, YM, GC, and NQ with an order flow focus, there's a goldmine of historical discussion buried in here going back 15+ years.
