, has update his indis to V42 for most of the indis I see in your indicator. Then there are some other indis that I am having trouble locating.
May I request you update your indicator with the latest Fat Tails versions or provide a zip that I would hope includes old ones that would work. PLEASE help. Thank you.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Sorry about that. Actually this indicator is for personal use so the only updates are when I make a change for my own use or something is broken. Updates by fat Tails have little/no effect on this. In any case I will post the referenced files in the snapshot indicator thread.
Would this be the reason that all the ana indis are showing errors, once I compile the new downloads, I have read quiet a lot of the posts so have loaded gomi.
Most probably. I've included the relevant files in the link below. I suggest any further questions on the snapshot indicator be included in that thread.
Some people have had difficulty getting this to work. If there are compilation errors make sure you have the following indicators installed (as this references them).
I would like to be able to run the "swing trend" change signal up/down in a strategy, is it possible as I have tried, also got NT to remote in and they couldnt do it either.
I'm trying to get the volume of the swings on a rang bar chart using the POS Pro version (downloaded the latest version). Ideally, I'd like to see the volume build on each potential leg, then stay there after the leg completes and a pivot is confirmed. I have an older version of this on a laptop at home, and it works perfectly, however the version I just downloaded is acting differently. I tried loading the chart template from the older version on the newer version, but it doesn't work.
I've tried just about every combination of the settings, but can't figure it out. Could someone please point me in the right direction?
you need to change the text color. it isn't showing because white text color on white chart background. but don't worry you're not the only one with that problem
As said so many times before, truly incredible indicator and a really great thread. I have read through all of it now. (that is an impressive accomplishment by itself, if I may say so...)
Somewhere along the line I read a comment about how to integrate this with other indicators/strategies - but now I just can not find it. I am sure that it is staring me in the face and apologize for any appearance of dumbness by not finding it. Could somebody point me to that?
I wish to create a running total of all the points accumulated in the swings. I would also like to be able to separate that information so that it is just the running total of upswings and just running total of downswings. I would also like to be able to discover the average depth and length of the swings. Hopefully this will not be too overwhelming of a project.
I would also like to ask a bit more information about the Swing Size. I recognize that 1 is a smaller swing size than 5 is as was already mentioned - but I still have a bit of confusion about that. When using the Standard Swing Type (I assume that is based on bars), what actually is being represented by the number in Swing Size? I had thought that it was the number of total bars that make up the swing. For example, a 5 bar swing size would be something like this using C#
