The session started a bit bad with 3 stop outs in a row and 2 of them were right on the tick which is very annoying. Also they happened within 55 seconds, so there wasn't much time to think about and already 10 seconds later I entered another trade. Note that I was very close to my daily risk limit but I felt that I should just grab the opportunity and I finally booked a small profit of 4T after having 9T, there the ATM took me out. Just seconds later I reentered again and finally had a winning trade which felt good.
Then I waited for about 2 minutes until the next opportunity arose and I grabbed it again was rewarded with a winning trade again. However, it went much lower than I thought and missed quite a bit on the trade. But I was back to zero and felt much better. EIA can be a bit crazy but I have traded it over 70 times by now and kind of have a feeling where it could go. Hence, @FlyingMonkey I can't record all these trades live in my excel sheet and I always do that when I'm done trading or when the market is very quiet.
Then I took 7 more trades and on 3 of them my ATM took me out and it ran many ticks in my direction after being stopped at BE. I know that it is very annoying to deal with in real-time while trading but in the end, I haven't really lost anything just not taking the opportunity. Normally my stop with a bigger account is 10-20T which of course gives abit more room. However, with the small account it is not really possible and I have to stick to that limit and maybe just take off the BE move. I'll check in a couple days when I have completed my 100 trades and then give an update.
A green day definitely helps to turn it around. Let's hope the next days go better as I really need to book at least $300 in profits to make it viable if I have more losing day
@mastadee, I had Ninja freezing issues all day so two profitable CL positions ended-up being losers so I can somewhat relate to your frustration with the ATM. I've had issues around inventory report time before so I don't trade the report but today it was problematic all day. I regularly repair the db, clear cache, only have 1 workspace open, etc, but still have issues from time to time.
hmm really weird, I've never experienced any freezing issues at all on Ninja. I've never had to repair the db or whatsoever. I have 2 workspaces with each 6-10charts open at a time. Hope you will sort it out! Good luck!
I'll have a tennis match in the morning, so won't be trading before 9 or even 9:30am and hence I'll post the daily prep sheet also a bit delayed. Not sure who is looking at the pdf but just a heads up. Good night all!
