FIO on Firefox has been horrible (flashing/refreshes/etc) for quite some time, I mostly use Chrome but would really like to be able to use both. This is on multiple machines and I have tried the obvious cache clears/ settings resets etcetera.
Have the same problems with Firefox (latest version): smells like sort of cache overflow.
After this I need to restart the machine...
Sometimes to make a reply in a thread it takes up to 5 min. to type, embed a chart etc. and send.
Of course I do have a lot of fio tabs open simultaneosly
Those should not influence the speed - yes?
I use CCleaner and like it, but it doesn't address the Firefox rubbish flashing refreshes. All the browsers seem to be going through another phase of 'lets all bloat together again' but FF has really slipped imho, FIO is much worse than under Chrome but other sites are poorer as well in the last few month's releases.
Today I got a error message from Firefox - being on fio page - telling me that a twitter.com script is not
working anymore - had to "stop" or "debug" it
After stopping the script Firefox behavior was again back to normal.
Did anyone have the same error messages?
