Maybe this for the next 8to32hrs
I'd really like the longs off 2024-2027zone optimally this will be tuesday to give a trend to 2047
This doesn't mean I'm not looking at LONGs at 2031.75, just 2025 is a better long with bigger potential
Thinking about using a keypad with hot keys for my entries/exits.
I saw a video of a trader using the g13 Logitech. I think it would save me a tick or few on certain entries and exits even though I incorporate Bookmap. I might even later see if I can hotkey it to that vs ninjatrader7/8.
I was up to 153500, up+3500.
I re-upped for 1 more month.
I did tilt at the end, over traded then over sized. Kept trying to short a bullish trend day, with size, took several -400 to blow my account.
A suggestion for anyone thinking of doing the 150k is get used to trading that size. A large part of my issue was scaling and size issues. Prior to that I was trading 2 lots. So in the combine there were times I'd get 2-12point runs, but not have enough size. Then I'd have size on my losses.
So maybe get used to trading that size.
I like scaling, depending on entry type and the reason for entering I like scaling in and scaling out. I scale in when the trade goes for me, and some other reasons, then I also like to scale in when the risk is smaller and it just showed another high probability entry. I like to scale out when we come to an anticipated level and it shows weakness against my trade so scaling profits as it could reverse.
I have purchased EDGEWONK a different trading journal based on Excel. I have and still am a subscriber to another journal, but am liking the nature of Edgewonk better.
I will post some pics later.
I journal here occasionally.
I think the Edgewonk is a good tool that integrates Excel into ones trading. I am still finding the nuances, but I like it. I do prefer auto logging in a journal as I am manually inputting. With Tradervue I have an indicator that auto inputs. Then I can go back and put notes and screenshots. The biggest drawback on Edgewonk is the current ability to only show 1 screenshot. I'd like the ability in a journal to have a common Tradeplan with screenshot and notes then the days trades.
I'll post more on it soon. Right now I'm trying to scalp the dom for 100 trades, so Edgewonk isn't maximized with that specific style. I will post more comments shortly.
