I have all my charts set to CL ##-## and i will execute off the front month that we area trading
Here is todays correct data...the correct view worked amazing
" I will follow my rules, I will take my stops, I will be disciplined and i will work with the market....NOT AGAINST IT! Professional mind control is the key"
I'm still trading the April contract, volumes have been about the same for both, although May volume is now slightly ahead. Light Sweet Crude Oil (WTI)
April also lined up well to the prior days key areas, different strokes for different folks
" I will follow my rules, I will take my stops, I will be disciplined and i will work with the market....NOT AGAINST IT! Professional mind control is the key"
Another frustrating roll over...may be next time i will get it right lol
Thanks as always Ben

Sorry, I'm late to this so may be repeating... But the key to Ninjatrader Rollover is that you cannot bring the new contract into your charts until after the date set (arbitrarily) by ninjatrader in the instrument manager for rollover. Each month they usually set the date much farther in the future than when the volume actually shifts to the new contract so if you want to switch, you've got to edit the date they hardcode into the "misc" tab of the instrument.
Hope that makes sense.
btw, does anybody else see this thing as building buying pressure into the close to hit that bracket high at 93.84? (on the 4-13 contract)

This is how i used to do it but i have got a kinetic data feed now and im running all my CL charts on the CL ##-## hoping this will make things more smooth and less complicated with kenetic
Today is the 1st day i have used it and i did not set it up correctly
I dont think were going to see this spike up into the close
We have been rejecting develpoing value all day but i think it will just revert to the mean into the close today
$93.30 looking good.........
23 min left of out cry.......im thinking we will most likeley just see long liqudation
Who knows....... :-D
Looks like you had that spot on
Iv not been trading today....just saw we have been 1 time framing lovley all day today

Well, that did work out well, huh? Looks like a lot of standing sell orders at the prior high. Tough to say whether this will go further but there's plenty of time left for the big guys to get their orders filled if they want. But I'm out - that was all I needed to make up for missing most of the morning... Thanks for all your posts on here @greenr - really helping me.

hi everyone.... wanted to post a video of the open, to go over what i was thinking...I didnt take any trades, as we were down near thursdays and wednesdays excess.I typically do videos in replay, to evaluate the trades i feel were correct. The goal is to review them, along with doing replays, and be doing this in real time. Its getting better, but not quite there yet.
