I'm new to trading and I joined this forum to find out as much as possible about the Emini S&P 500 and to find out where I can learn more about futures. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I am new to Big Mike's TF, as well as to any forum. I recognize the value to get onboard with others who are also active traders or on there way. I know it will help me learn my trade and meet my goals by learning from others who are also on the journey.
Retired a few years ago at 50 and now want work on my own terms, take my investment experience and evolve it into a trading experience. I will initially begin with discretionary swing trading perhaps evolving to automated trading, if not day-trading.
To avoid some of the harsh lessons, I've opted to create a foundation via some online trading education, specifically in Technical Analysis, and I have learned how much I have yet to learn.
Starting-up I looked at NinjaTrader, but thought it a steep learning curve, but thought MultiCharts might be better for me. Changed broker to OptionsXpress, but this may change again to IB or MBT. Trying to assess what data-feed provider I want; currently testing IQFeed. However, just two days into the adventure on MCharts, I have alot to learn. Yet to fully develop a money management plan, trading goals & strategy, an up & running platform, etc are all ppart of the prep before getting in, including paper-trading for 60-90days. Meanwhile, I hope the experience of the many on this forum will prove beneficial to me, and in time, I hope to be able to give back to others.
For now, I will ask many questions, solicit your patience in the process, learn all I can take-in and look forward to the experience. And I'll keep praying. . . That's my intro, regards to all,
I'm new here and simply have to say thanks for this great forum.
During the past 12 months or so I have been looking into trading and spent thousands of hours learning, reading, watching charts and thinking about these points. I have not yet traded live and as I am a rather careful person it will likely take some more time before I start doing so. In the past this has certainly saved me a lot of money.
I am fairly new to day trading as well (two years), but I jumped on board with ninjatrader. I think you will find it quite easy to learn if you spend some time with it. It is very versatile and customizable. There are hundreds of free third party indicators to add to your technical analysis. And you can download a trading version of ninjatrader, free! With a simulator and ability to trade live. I think NT is the way to go
I am not new to stocks, but new to forex. I almost never trade demo, always on live account. The only time I traded demo is when I waited for my funds to be deposited, I might place one trade a month on demo but with no real purpose for that.
Hi, this is Subhasish from India. I am in the market for last seven years but mostly did swing trading. Now for last several month I got interest in Day Trading. I landed in this futures.io (formerly BMT) accidentally but fell in love immediately. I got so impressed that I became elite member straightway. I'm a small trader but with lot of hunger to learn the art of the business. I spend almost 3-4 after office hours everyday. Every passing day I'm feeling that why I didn't had all these information. I feel that some day I'll sure be in the business full time. More than earning money I love the invisible war of Intellectualism. This has become my passion. Looking forward for a interesting journey ahead here in futures.io (formerly BMT). May god bless u all........
