Hope all is well and everybody is making some money...
I'm trading for almost a year now, and I recently found out I can use "custom Indicators" to help me trade better - as I was investigating deeper I found out that everyone can basically customize those to their needs with a little knowledge of programming.
I have some background in programming (mostly websites) I decided to get started with EasyLanguage as I use TS.
Anyway, I would probably need some help with stuff so I decided to join futures.io (formerly BMT), I think that EasyLanguage can be used for other platforms besides TS so I'm guessing we have some EL experts here.. would appreciate the assistance when needed.
Great day to all!
oh one other thing - how can I upload my own avatar to the profile?
I believe this is where I am supposed to introduce myself. I trade the TF on NT. I have been learning for 3 going on 4 years and am amazed at how I see and interpret charts compared to 6 months or a year ago. I have been a real estate investor in single family homes for about 20 years but realize that the risks and caveats especially in the current environment make this a challenging business. I am looking forward to becoming involved in this forum. If anybody has advice on the steps to ease the learning curve for using this forum I would like to receive your comments. Thanks Spinnerman
This is my first post. I love this site and I've studied a lot.
I'm studying the TF at the moment. I have a lot of experience trading, but unfortunately not that profitable yet. I've spent a lot of money buying systems and became members of numerous sites, but none of them have satisfied me with the exception of LBR. I've gotten some satisfaction from that, but decided that that kind of trading was not for me.
Here is another version of StepMA I did a while back.
It is based on newer v7.2 of stepMA and also addresses a number of problems with the other NinjaTrader port. That version for some reason redraws buy/sell signals after the fact, and leaves the old …
After much searching for a community, I'm happy to have become a member of this site (thanks Big Mike!). My eventual long-term goal is to become financially free through trading. I feel that it's going to be a long and bumpy road but I'm committed to getting there.
I'm fairly new to active trading but have dabbled in hold and hope trading for over 10 years, focusing mainly on equities. I'm an analytical person and have lots of experience with software development (with the past 3 years focussed on C#/.NET). The obvious trading vehicle appears to be NinjaTrader.
I currently live in US but will be returning to Canada within a year. I would love to chat with anyone that is a dual American/Canadian citizen and how they deal with all the taxation issues that arise.
