Hello, I had a quote from Ninjatrader a little while ago to get the multi-broker lifetime licence. I waited to buy since I was still working on getting my strategy transferred over to Ninjatrader 8.
I just reached out to buy the lifetime multi-broker license, but the people at brokerage support and platform sales are telling me it is "not available" anymore. I have a quote from Ninjatrader for this license for $1,649 and I do not want to have to pay $99 forever. I am a Canadian customer.
I was shaving money to purchase a lifetime license. Before this, I was using a three-month license.
But now, I see that the lifetime license has gone from $1099 to $1499.
It's possible to get a lifetime license with the price before? Some offer or something like that? The price has been increased considerably in one day to another.

In reading this thread, I get it that people are ticked-off about v8.1.x.x, there are a lot of irritating 'features' that NT needs to fix/jettison (eg The Login Of Mystery). But .... 1) I appreciate the way the CEO is personally showing up and taking the flack in a constructive manner, 2) I appreciate that a lot of useful features ARE being included (eg server-side ATM functionality), and 3) I REALLY appreciate that I'm still on v8.024.1, and, heck no, I'm not going anywhere near v8.1 until the 'all clear' has been sounded about 9 months down the road. It's A Rule in software development that "the pioneers get the arrows" ... Bill Gates taught me that, sort of.
I still haven't heard back from NinjaTrader regarding this Order Flow Indicator problem after 3 requests for help. Perhaps its a rare problem and they don't know the solution. Updated members in my group are not having this problem. My 8.1.1.1 installation was a clean install so we can't blame Add-ons. I have a fast 6-core/12-thread computer with 64gb of RAM. I use an ethernet cable.
Another problem has surfaced this week. Twice I had NT8 lock up with both Live and Rithmic still connected. Internet connection was fine, the Tool Bar Clock showed the correct time, disconnecting and connecting did not solve the problem. I had to restart NT8 to get back on my charts.
Which brings up the third problem. Previously, I could shut down NT8, count to 10 and restart it. Now I have to do a complete computer restart which takes more time. Maybe I need to count to 30 with 8.1.1.1.
Sometimes Ninjatrader runs a promo sale on the lifetime license, $300 off was typical, but it occurs sporadically. The chances of a sale are better closer to year-end and the holidays. Good luck.
