You can make the plots change like that but I don't know how to make the shading do that. @Big Mike did something similar with the nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) Wave. Perhaps he or some of the other real programmers could show us how to do that.
The problem is we are pushing the envelope with all the graphics and finding answers is difficult.
I'm just a simple man trading a simple plan.
My daddy always said, "Every day above ground is a good day!"
Thanks, after I test sma more we'll try to define bollingersma flat region. I have to say on my main monitor which is a 47LCD its amazing. I have to tip my hat to you it took you a while to come up with this background pic, I tried many and came back to this one.
I use it to have a view of the "battle" between the Bulls and the Bears when I see an opportunity to enter a trade or when I'm already in a trade and want to decide to quit in the midst of a small loss/gain, or to continue.
Meanwhile, I've replaced it with Timmy's Prometheus (located @ the rightmost in the screenshot below) , which now gives me additional view of the Commercials/Retailers market strengths and weaknesses.
Yes, it requires that the datafeed is good in efficient delivery of Bid/Ask feed ... IQFeed is good at this, but you can only use IQFeed as datafeed for charting; you can't use it for Order routing/placement ... you'll need a second feed for Order routing/placement. I suppose ESignal has good datafeed for Bid/Ask structure too but I don't have any ESignal experience. As for ZenFire, my understanding is that its handling of Bid/Ask nomenclature is not efficient (you may need to confirm this from other Forum members).
i want to use your annapiccyback indi with your annaibrangebandsv38 indi to get the effect shown below
The issue i am having is that the fill color for the ib range indi wont show with the annapiccyback indicator on the chart, i have had a look at both myself & assume that this has something to do with z order but with my limited hacking abilities i have been unable to solve. If this is a quick fix i would appreciate your help or guidance. Thanks in advance.
You would need to change the DrawRegion() command to FillPolygon within the custom plot of the IB Range Bands. A few hours of work just to have a useless image as a background. Sorry, I cannot do that.
