Sorry, there is not. I tried to implement this years ago with a developer, just couldn't get it done. It's made complex because some people's "post # xyz" are different from others -- because for instance moderators get to see deleted/banned content, or regular members maybe have a particular user on their ignore list. These factor in to what the post # is displayed in the thread.
It's a (bad/stupid) limitation of the software. Should be consistent between all users, but isn't.
The only thing that is fixed/consistent is the permalink option/link to the right of each post. That will always be correct, site wide, for all users. The next closest thing is the actual postid of the post, which is not the same as the "post #" in the thread view from a user standpoint (customer facing). The postid can be found as part of the permalink. I'll post this post I am writing, then edit it in a moment once I see what the postid is, so you can see it too.
Edited to add: ok, this post is postid 715222 for example. That is static/unique/fixed for all users. If you knew this number, which is not displayed in the typical thread view, you could jump straight to the post using shortcut URL's. But, it's not displayed in normal view.
Thx Mike, I had guessed as much but I thought I'd ask just in case.
It puzzled me that a few users would refer to #post number because, with the exception of posts such as #1 or #2 which are easy to find, there is no easy way to jump straight there.
it looks like the CSS stylesheet and related images aren't loading on the page. clear your browser cache as a first point of troubleshooting. other than that, its normally due to some transient connection problems between you and the server.

Wouldn't it make sense to just call it Index Futures Trading?
Should you rename Commodities Futures Trading to Commodities Full Size, eMini and eMicro Futures Trading?
