@greenr your posts are very helpful to me. One of my problems has always been over-weighting the probability of breakouts. I think because when they happen they make such a big impression I am pre-disposed to expect them more often than they happen. This causes me to have difficulty fading value extremes - something that you have demonstrated effectively again and again in this thread. Its a good example for me.
So far today I went with the open-drive and got out when price stalled. I then tried to buy the down move all the way to the bottom. I managed risk well so I controlled my losses but I just couldn't get myself to short. My saving grace has been buying the retest of yesterday's high and holding for a breakout (yes, once in a while they do happen ).
I'm watching this - not sure we will retest the highs today but we may pick up speed to the downside in which case I'd look for a good reference for a short opportunity. Otherwise I may be done until the last hour...
I'll post a chart - just to have a pretty picture.

He said most professional do this because its the best way to apprach the markets this way
So..........ill do a drawing to make things easier
So what he said was, its more efficent and logical to take profit at major resistance......then if it breaks out with conviction. You then re buy.....if not you sell the highs and target the major lows doing the same thing
Aparently this is how most professional fund managers opperate

hi
what does this cumulative delta on ask vs bid indicate from yesterday. Its a huge buying increase outpacing the price.
The spike happened yesterday, the 29th
What does this tell you ? anything ?
