Busy week for me, good week for me.. hopefully yours as well.
I didn't end the week well, had some free time/boredom and I gave my gains back. My emotions definitely took over. I was able to keep my losses small, around -$200 so that is a win. I thought I could get away with 6, but now I'm sizing back down to 2 contracts.
1) started off as a small green, ended as a loss -$25 - 2 conctracts
2) green +$35 - 2 contracts
3) loss -$25 - 2 contracts
4) a win but moved tp, thinking it could go for 10 more ticks, held till it hit my stop loss: -$25
5) a win and again held for some more, it was at $70 at one point... ended it with a loss -$25
6) small win, sized up to 6 contracts : +$54
7) small win sized up to 6 contracts: +$48
8) win 1:1 : $25
9: win 1 contract went to 39 ticks, sold first one at around 23 ticks: +$62
I need to move my stop loss to B/E more... its a bummer, I took two losses for not reason. I also need to stop trying to reach for the stars, and just accept 1:1 or 1:2. I need consistency, not a dopamine rush.
NT was buggy for me today, timezone/clock got messed up for some reason overnight on my laptop not sure what happen. I made changes, let see if it changes tomorrow.
Two trades went to BE before flushing down, I guess ill just have to accept BE over a loss. It sucks, but at least my emotions will be in check, I just need to make sure I dont tilt when my next entry goes against me.
Started the day off with two L's. First trade was alright, went along with my trade plan, it just failed. Second trade, I don't think it was necessary, maybe rushed it... should eliminate these types of trades. The third trade was because it looked liked price was going to continue to drop.
Last trade has a meh, I had two chances to get out for a small win, decided to hold out for a bigger win. I was willing to lose all of todays gains which at that time was around $57. It went as low as -21 ticks. I think I could of traded better, taken those small wins and re-entered at a later time. Lady Luck carried me on the last one I guess. The take away for me was that I had good control of my emotions, I was willing to take a gamble on this trade and was aware I would end the week a bit lower compared to yesterday.
made some changes to the CD - OBVM indicator you are using .. nothing big .. maybe found a mistake in the math but doesn't seem to have changed the display that much so probably not have much impact on your trading .. biggest thing is bringing the colors used in various areas so they are much easier for you to change them as you see fit ..
can send the updated version to you (or anyone that wants it ) .. let me know
I see your trading .. it seems like you are doing a lot better than a few weeks ago .. so keep at it .. keep getting better .. be like Kermit the frog .. stay green my friend ..

.. you don't have to be the first one at the party .. just be part of the party ..
I have trouble analyzing the indicators when the market gets busy .. so I created an indicator that combines all of the indicators used on my charts .. with the option of overriding any indicator .. included are the 3-moving average indicator, a standard MACD, the OBVM-CD indicator that has been shared with the group .. and VWAP (although this one is usually overridden) ..
you can see it at the bottom of the screenshot of today's ES chart .. am happy with the signals it gave this morning .. when people ask why I use .. this is why .. don't think I could have created this indicator if I used most of the trading platforms out there .. just need to add buttons to the top toolbar so can toggle the override feature(s)

I had a rough start, first two trades were Ls. I was down around -$88 dollars, before I caught on to the trend. I took an uncessary 3 trade which was a loss, going short. I reacted thinking okay, maybe the market is just telling me I'm wrong. In actuality, it was just ranging in a lull before sticking with the trending upward movement. My S/L was tight, so I got shook out. 1 contract runner hit +60 ticks. Not a bad start to the week, going to close down and try again tomorrow.
