Volumetric bars are basically built from the underlying bar type and then have a footprint added.
Therefore any indicator maybe applied to the volumetric bar, when it can be applied to the underlying bar type.
The Better Volume indicator is designed to work with minute data. Therefore you may also apply it to a volumetric bar with the base period type "minute".

@Fat Tails. can BetterVolume be modified to ALSO plot separate Bid / Ask volume so that for set periods it could show a cross over? Preferably with a color change on slope or something similar.

@Fat Tails, not trying to use the relative volume. So what indicator might you recommend I start with to tweak for the description of separate Bid/Ask plots acting on cross overs? Needs to work with NT8 Strategy Builder.

Crossover would be a Moving Average of Buy volume increases more than the Ask Moving Average. I am not a coder and tried to modify the EMA standard indicator but it was an epic fail.
The best indicator would color the EMA's with the rise, flat, lower colors but that is certainly an extra beyond the core request.
I do not think that this idea is going to work. High selling volume - that is bid traded volume - can often be a bullish sign. Also this has nothing to do with the Better Volume indicator, as it does not differentiate between bullish and bearish signals.
