On the latest poll, about FOMO, I clicked on "After seeing very large bars either bullish or bearish," and it looks like it took it, but the vote is not showing in the results. I noticed just now that the wording of the choice is not the same in the poll and in the results tally (results has parens, poll has different wording). I'm not sure if this is the cause, but it is a difference.

It's just that I edited the poll a few seconds after posting it, to condense it so it doesn't word-wrap in the questions to the next line. You were just super quick and saw it before I edited.
The system stores answers in such a way that if an option is edited, then it doesn't count. You only saw this literally immediately after I posted it, it shouldn't affect anyone else
I see I have a red stripe this morning, but I don't feel I've earned it yet and still have a long way to go.
Is there any way you could set me back to yellow for now? I feel "market wizard" carries a bit of weight here and I just don't have the experience imho.
Mike just changed the formula and it would be an issue to customize it for individual users.
Look at it this way: "Market Wizard" on FIO is but a term that indicates high participation on the forum. You could think of it as "FIO Wizard" if you like.
It does not necessarily have a direct correlation to you trading knowledge or profitability.
At 1:34PM ET today, the database servers all experienced an outage. With three servers, this should not have happened. The primary had a segfault, a bug in the code somewhere in MariaDB. But the other two should not have dropped out of the cluster -- so this needs to be investigated.
I was occupied at the moment and didn't notice the alerts until about 15 minutes later, and then it look another 10 minutes for me to solve.
I will script this in the future to check for this scenario, and automatically bootstrap the correct node and restart the cluster. I'll put it on my to-do list.
actually, you should not have been promoted. I realize now you joined Feb this year, and there is a 1-year requirement and 500 posts, plus the qualifying formula, to be promoted. Let me find the bug in the promotion script that caused your promotion and fix it, and expect to be demoted until Feb of next year when you pass the 1-year threshold.
