I've made a change to the Question & Answer feature section of the site.
Previously, only the original poster (OP) of a thread could mark a particular post as an "Answer". Or a site moderator.
However, too frequently the OP overlooks this ability. So, I've changed this to allow any Elite Member to mark a post as "Answered" in these featured threads.
Could you please help me test and confirm this is working correctly?
On the homepage, top left, you'll see a section of recent Q&A board threads. Please click through them and find the ones that have at least one reply to the original post. In that case, you should see an option to allow you to click 'Answer' on that post and mark the thread as Answered.
Please let me know. I believe this is in the best interest of the community. I should also point out that the list of questions is cached by the system for one hour at a time, so there may be a short discrepancy between a thread you've recently marked as Answered and what the forum homepage shows. This is to speed up the home page.
