I follow these channels almost daily to plan out my next moves: Stocks Today
MyStrategicForecast
FXEvolution
Trade Brigade. SchoolofTrade
I don't know if they're great traders but they give one the basis for choosing the most probable market trend and how to determine it.
I've tried many other channels, but they generally have an edge or bias that skews the trade.
These channels are sincere and helpful and all offer some sort of trade with me service.
After over 30 pages, this horse is probably dead and beaten. But I have to contribute my 2-cents.
Every trading channel (good and bad) is selling a course. The YouTube channel is their marketing tool to sell courses.
I came across one really good YouTube channel back in 2018. Yes, he was selling a course and access to his trading room. The trading room was where the useful, and non-basic information, was given. The man's name was Charles (Charlie) Cochran. Unfortunately, a few months after I purchased his course and learned from his room, he died suddenly.
Let me tell a little about Charles. He was one of the early adopters of Market Profile, which was created by Peter Steidlmayer. After using MP, he decided that he could tweak it to fit his needs. That led to the creation of Volume Profile. Charles was truly a wizard in using Volume Profile to predict intraday highs and lows.
He later collaborate with Peter Mannis (sic) to create software to help traders predict intraday highs and lows. A license to use it came with the course. Charles was the market brains, and Peter was the developer who has some trading knowledge, but not comparable to that of Charles.
After Charles passed, Peter started doing more live commentary and analysis. But his analysis just wasn't the same as Charles. As a result, I left the room.
When searching for a trading mentor, ask yourself the following questions:
1. Does the person have professional trading experience (proprietary, institutional, pit trader, market maker, etc)?
2. Does the person have over 10 years of professional trading experience?
3. Does the person have a consistent track record of successful trades?
4. Can the person show audited records of his trades?
If the answer is no to either question #1, #2, or #3, then it's a hard pass. Question #4 is optional.
I used to post some videos years ago but it was not worrh the effort. Nobody is interested in a video lasting 1+ hour....so I gave up.
I am amazed by who many views channels with BS content get. Youtube is full of scammers.
The problem is that YouTube is optimized by its users for clicks. And the people who are attracted to that are the kind of advertising people who don't know they are getting fed garbage.
Not to mention youtube video are pretty useless unless it's like a Mark Douglas type.
Trading is pretty simple. Its is extremely hard though.
People want it to be easy. YouTubers know this and feed them content they want. Not what they actually need.
So it's not really just YouTube. Fault also lays at the feet of the users who go looking for an easy way to trade. Or worse... A WAY TO FORECAST THE MARKET!

Your right ... just not necessarily what they need!

This guy goes under name Quant Trade Edge posted for about a year on youtube, then stopped posting. Not selling anything. He has some interesting scalps for NQ and teaches Gann Bar Counting.
I am think of trying Reza Dilmaghani's room at Profile-Traders. There are a few of his videos on youtube. One good elementary description of Market Profile theory but they are older postings. He has good credentials. Been in business awhile. Teaches MP setups. Anyone had experience with him actually trading?
