There is a choice on the BSellVolume Parameters entitled "UseVolumebar". Default is True which uses buy/sell ratio to plot Volume Bar instead of plotting bid/ask volume. I have run parallel charts with both True and False settings and I see no observable difference. Do you know about this? I see you have brought out VolumeStop V8, should I upgrade?
use 'volume bar' = apply % of bid/ask to actual ninja regular volume bar so that indicator volume and the ninja vol up and down bar height look the same. Note: ask vol + bid vol is slightly < regular vol (too complicated to explain).
I freeze vol stop at V7 anything beyond that you are on your own.
Thanks Cory. There appears to be inconsistency in the BSellVolDots with the BSellVolume. On the 5 Min ES chart below the 19:20 BSellVolume majority was red but the BSellVolDot was blue. On the 19:40 BSellVolume majority was green but the BSellVolDot was red. On the 21:05 BSellVolume total was 1,010 and over 600 was red but the BSellVolDot was blue. This does not make sense to me.
Thanks Cory, I'll check it out. Given that the BSellVolDot will not work when set to "Calculate on bar close = True" I presume it is impossible to modify the indicator so the Sound Alert will trigger on bar close?
both of indi are default to Calculate on bar close = false.
the affect will be
1) signal will move around before bar close
2) alert will sound before bar close
-This is why I don't want to be bother with alert unlike signal you can't erase alert once condition is not meet upon bar close. And another thing there is no bar close property in Ninjatrader in plain English you can not check for bar close condition.
