The TradeStation one is unique. They just aren't smart. They kept sending legal threats for using the name TradeStation to describe user-generated content/indicators for their platform, TradeStation. They were beyond reason, or don't know how to read. So I just deleted it.
I have only seen this on this one occassion, so it probably had to do with that post.
When I looked at the linked post just a few moments ago, this is what I saw:
All of those odd litlle icons are supposed to be chart images.
I went into the Quote editor, and saw the actual link he had for one of the images, which is enclosed in screencast tags.
As I was trying to type in the link in this message, I got the exact same funny little icon for it. Then, in an attempt to see if I could just show the link as text and not get that icon, I tried putting it into a code window. To my surprise and total befuddlement, when I did that it rendered the image as an actual image, this one:
This is now what I'm getting for the image outside the Code window also.
To be clear, before I put it into the Code window, all I got was the little icon. Now, not only does it render correctly outside of the Code window, but I went back to the original post, the one I made the picture of with all those funny icons things that I printed just above, and now all the chart images are there as intended, as charts, not funny icon things.
So the sequence today, as I was typing this, was:
1. The screencast links were not rendering as images in the original post, on my machine and browser.
2. I copied the screencast link into this post, and it still didn't render (got the same little icons.)
3. I put it into a Code window, thinking it would just show the underlying text of the link, and suddenly it rendered the image, in this post.
4. Now, all the links in the original post, the ones that were showing as the odd icons but not as images, are displaying the images just fine.
I am glad I grabbed a screenshot of how Dan's post looked before, because now it looks like this:
The area marked in blue covers the first two links in the first screenshot, the one that only has them as funny icons.
So there you have it. The images were not there, then after putting the screencast in the Code window, my browser seems to have remembered what to do and now the originals all show fine, in this post and in Dan's original one -- on my machine and browser.
If you read the posts that followed Dan's linked post, you will see that apparently no one could see the charts at the time, because they all ask where the charts are. So it was a general phenomenon, although clearly when you looked at it, it all looked fine to you.
I have been able to view charts in the past that were in screencast links with no problem, on this machine and brower (it's the current Chrome -- Version 110.0.5481.178 (Official Build) (64-bit))
So that's the story.

OK, it's possible that between the time I started writing my post, and found the funny icons, and the time the links suddenly started working, you put your fix in. That's much more likely than my surmise that somehow it just cleared up by itself, mysteriously.
So I guess this means that it's tested and fixed.

Yeah it was a security issue. I had forgotten screencast links were still being hosted on bmcharts, and when I added a layer of security it made all those images return 404 invalid (broken icon). Right now with a page refresh or maybe a hard refresh (shift-F5 / shift-reload icon) it should solve it. Hoping also confirms.
Can we get some other commentors please and tell me if my original post w/ the tweet worked?
are you blocking anything, scripts etc that might be interfering with it? Might be some sort of privacy setting since it involves Twitter even? Can you try a different browser just to see? I'm using Edge.
I would like to solve it as Twitter is important on our site.
