Hey guys, sorry for the delay in responding. I unsubscribed from this thread because it's so massive I figured I would get a lot of updates I didn't care for.
I'm using two computers. A laptop and a desktop. The desktop runs the top and bottom monitors on the far right. I use it for playing music (it's hooked up to the speakers), trading stats (excel), browsing, email, etc. most anything non ninjatrader related. It also has NT7 on it, so if the laptop fails, it can serve as a backup system. This is pretty much the exact reasoning wldman used to talk about running multiple systems for your monitors.
The bottom left screen is actually a widescreen laptop sitting on books, and it runs the 3 monitors bordering it for a quad setup.
Big Mike was correct in that I like multiple toolbars for the desktop since I'm multitasking on it. I turned of Display Fusion's multiple taskbar function for the trading screens (left 4) because it takes up precious chart real estate and wouldn't be used anyways.
Uh, no. For most American's its the last stand against tyranny. Hunting, self protection, target shooting and all the other fun things you can do with a gun are secondary. The Framers knew that without an armed population, the government would soon resort to tyranny again. Guns are the symbol of freedom. There is no argument that can be made against it. I've spent to much time in countries where guns are illegal and seen the consequences of this to believe otherwise.
An argument could be made that in this enlightened age, this is not necessary. And currently it might be true, but gun ownership is what keeps that enlightened age going.
Take away the guns and sooner or later the government will no longer fear its population and when that happens, watch out.
A government that fears its population means its people live in freedom. A people that fear its government live in slavery.

may as well be armed with pea shooters against the arsenal of weaponry the government has to use against a mob army... I don't think they are scared....
