BM our deltas are way different for sure, this is IRT with DTN IQ any ideas why the are out of wack?

What size chart?

I need to investigate how to make the switch. Just haven't had time, but I really need to make time.

Mike

Long here 3480's, would like to see 3575 but who knows, this might just be a tight range day.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for doing this! I was originally a simple minute chart trader which was working ok for me but realized the power of Volume charts and other non time based charts. I am still trying to determine if renko charts give me any edge but combined with my recently acquired interest for Volume Analysis (unfortunately not something that is really appreciated in the spot business) I keep finding much more comfort in the volume charts.

That being said I've tried a million things and just as you keep going back to the basics for answers. Funny how that is.

Anyways I will start posting some charts soon but had a question for you. I see you use cummulative delta charts in sierra, are you using the velocity feed? If so how is that working out? It is dramatically different IMO and in fact really misses lots of the moves compared to the IQ Feed. Look at the EUR drop yesterday using CD from IQ vs Velocity. One was dead obvious (IQ Feed) and the other wasn't but then again I ask you because you have been using it much longer than I have.

Phil

Just had a perfect example of this happen (The move was crystal with the IQFeed, not so much with the sierra feed)

Thoughts / Criticisms? I am still very new to delta so would love your comments..

(I actually did short this but got out 30 pips in because I left the t/p strategy in and it moved quicker than i could move it.. would still be in otherwise.. no reason to have gotten out)
