great forum gang. i am glad to be a part of the community and look forward to participating in the discussions that take place on the boards
i have been trading several years and focus on order flow, volume and studies related to these concepts. i also consider range related strategies and work with an intra-day timeline.
Been trading for four years or so. Was successful in the mortgage business, but that pretty well blew up. My wife actually got me into trading as she was tired of watching her 401k slide while the managers were convincing her that "it'll come back" or "hey, 8% is a great anual return ...."
Anyway, found out I loved it!
Departed equities for the most part and explored the futures world, particularly the ES minis. Paper traded for a couple of months, got to the point where I was consistently making $200 to as much as $1000 per day with two contracts and figured it was time to go "live". Did so and dropped three G's in three days through stupidity and revenge trading. Realized I had some holes in my trading plan somewhere and began exploring various sites. As a matter of fact a member of eminiaddict.com posted Big Mike's link and I thought it best to give it a whirl.
I'm on probation on this forum. No PM's and no email addresses until 5 posts. I wonder if this will work. drtrades at pacbell dot net. Know what I mean?
Hi, I have been on this forum for a few months and just wanted to introduce myself. A newbie daytrader, been trading the e-mini for about a year and some stocks, been concentrating on the e-mini exclusively the past 6 to 8 months. Hope to learn a lot and add positively to the forum.
