Delta divergence indicator available in the elite section for Ninjatrader7?
Meanwhile I installed Gom CD platform and for some reason your Cumulative Delta indy behaves a bit differently from Gom CD. Could you elaborate on how/what exactly your indy calculates regarding the delta? Also, any update on planned new version of your excellent indy...?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Another member also e-mailed me about that- About those different values. The indicator I had coded was calculated on just the last/chart price. I'm pretty sure that the Gom indicator you have is using ask and bid values. That's my guess.
I was debating on whether to wait until NT8 is released to have one of my ideas coded. I'm not sure how much coding would be required to update the indy into the new version. But, we don't know specifically when it will be released, and time is also money. I'd say three weeks at the latest. Can't wait much longer!
Ok, I was just curious how to read the plotted delta bars. So does it however measure market sell/buy order delta? Gom measures market sell/buy orders hitting the ask/bid, I'm not sure I understood how your indy can measure it differently at "current price". Anyway, great to hear you are working on that new version. Shouldn't wait for NT 8, it may be still quite a long time away...
I'm using your indicator and GomCD at the same time. GomCD for persistent data and yours for the divergence notification. For me both are plotting identical. I have GomCD set to calculate BidAsk. By the way its working great for showing absorption. I'm using it in context with other order flow tools and am getting really good results so far. Please don't change how it calculates. Of course being able to have the data persistent would be ideal. Thanks for the great indicator.
Candlesticks are formed by accumulative volume delta. Sell volume is subtracted from buy volume, and is mathematically expressed as: buy (positive values) + sell (negative values).

This indicator normalizes price-delta and delta using a moving average and standard deviations. These normalized outputs are plotted on the same indicator panel, as well as the difference between the two. Please read this post for more details:

Just do a search for divergence in the Download section, or in the Attachments search, or the regular title search. If you need help searching watch this:
Did anyone look at integrating this into Gom so that data could be filled from recording? From what you said RT, it didnīt seem to difficult to achieve?
