I have never used ninja's WFO seriously. I have played with it though. That platform has its own set of problems and things that need to be taken into account. Maybe someone with more experience using it can tell you.
AB works fine with (bid/ask) tick data. And support for millisecond and microsecond resolution has been there for years before MC was even thinking about it. Now since version 5.68 it is also possible to import subsecond resolution via ASCII importer.
Why does MC offer Portfolio backtesting if it hasn't even offered portfolio trading for years? Also no proper multi-currency support in regards to portfolio backtesting for years. Isn't that stuff that should be thought of right from the start and that should be one of the things being available since version 1.0? So current state is pretty useless if you ask me and a waste of $1500.
Please confirm that you do work for Amibroker. And that you are also the same user that has been on futures.io (formerly BMT) before under different handles, and banned for rude behavior. It is against the terms and conditions of the site for a banned user to continue using the site in any fashion. It is also against the terms and conditions for a Vendor to attempt to disguise their true identity -- all vendors are required to notify us of their status prior to making any post on the forum, and failure to do so is a reason for (once again) permanent banning.
The user as "Letmein", as you know, has been banned for rude behavior, and also had multiple prior accounts also banned for rude behavior.
While I have no love lost for MultiCharts, I do not allow the violation of our terms and conditions to take place -- especially once you switch in to "attack" mode attacking a competitor.
No, I don't. We can meet here where I live to show you proof. Just because I have been using a different software means I work for that software firm? Pretty strange logic.
What is the problem with my proper criticism in regards to this software??
BTW, I also own Neoticker. Does that mean I work for two firms?
I repeat I don't work for any software vendor. I'm a trader and software user!
However, you are the user "Letmein" which was previously banned -- yes? I have known this for quite some time, but step in today once you start attacking other competitors.
And again for the record. I don't attack a software vendor I wrote about known problems!
Is the thread title also an attack because it mentions "forward optimizer is FLAWED"?
Well I repeat again. We can meet here since you have accused me and not reverse. Do you want me to pay your flying ticket? There is also a lake here so we can go swimming afterwards.
Fine. You should meet him then, he lives within a couple miles of you, and also posts the same stuff about Amibroker as you. Quite a coincidence.
I also noticed you/he whatever just joined Elite Trader, or at least registered a new handle there, and was also writing about Amibroker. I am just pointing out to you that unlike other forums, futures.io (formerly BMT) has a zero tolerance policy for "multi-nics". In addition, once you are banned - you are banned for life, and you are violating the terms of the site by continuing to use the site after you have been banned.
I work hard to make futures.io (formerly BMT) a unique forum and not allow the same type of behavior that exists on other sites to exist here. I am active on the site. I care about the content, and I care about enforcing the rules.
Does MC offer portfolio trading?
Does MC offer proper multi-currency support?
Is my personal opinion that $1500 are a waste because of those sample reasons an attack? If so where is that rule mentioned?
