But why did you not mention the free rooms we're offering, even paying for the broadcasting which can be hundreds of dollars monthly for room operators depending on requirements.
You also didn't mention $99 as the ceiling. Remember the floor is zero. It's controlled by the room operator.
With that in mind, can you update your post?
I certainly welcome all feedback but it seems you completely left out this important piece.
I really do go back and forth on this entire concept. I will give every consideration due process and thorough consideration.
Seeing a member have that difficulty while paying for a thing that is typically obvious on the face of it, makes me say...do this the best you can so that people can avoid unnecessary pain. Divide the time and maybe you can justify continuing. I think you know what I mean by that. I do not trade for a living...I traded for a living. I participate now for numerous reasons that I enjoy greatly. Need is not one of them. I am NOT SORRY that I was lucky and good and too stupid to quit. If not for the right place at the right time with the right attitude, I'd be a retired fire fighter or electrician. Nor will I ever be sorry that I was born in the USA.
Noted that there are differences in the world and admittedly "chance" plays a greater roll in life than any other thing. So I'd ask some folks, How much of my blood sweat and tears are you entitled to? None...not at any cost. I 100% support the "free" concept of collegial intellectual exchange. Keeping rates "fair" has room for free...no doubt. However the arbiter of that has to be the "contribution" side of the relationship.
True enough I'd rather have 10 grateful engineers that work for $120 a week "make it" using something I shared for free, than 100 east coast trust fund douche bags paying me $1000 a month to brag to their fraternity brothers how hard they crush it.
All this to say that if participants of good character could pay not JUST a uniform level rate, but based on what the instruction/participation meant to them, gratitude could be a currency. I think of the 2/20 model and how outrageous that seemed... but if you were losing to making 1000 a month and six months in you are even to making 1000 a day, how much is that worth? The item we need to keep in mind is that a good teacher sharing valuable concepts should be creating colleagues, not maintaining customers, right?
How do we do that?

also. I'm aware that you have a 503c and do significant work for the improvement of your community. If there were members that needed unlimited but "free" access, I'd do that in exchange for ANY annual contribution to your efforts. along those lines, I'd put forward that if a significant progress cant be made in a year, we are doing it wrong.
So what’s the competitive advantage you see of this platform compared to current solutions?
I’ve seen a mix of them out there including (screen share + chats + chat room threads), YouTube (screen share + chat), Twitch (screen share + chat), and Twitter (audio + chats)
I think YouTube is great for user trying to gain or increase exposure, same with twitter, and I see a lot of more successful live day trading streamers do a mixed model with YouTube stream + engagement for chats
I want some feedback, but I am raising profit split model a bit:
50/50 split is the floor (50% to Leader)
70/30 split is ceiling (70% to Leader)
It would slide based on your monthly subscriber revenue. So the better you do, the more you will be rewarded with a bigger piece of the pie.
We intend to charge $14.99/mo per user when we exit beta. This charge is direct to followers (traders). It will also be applied 100% towards any paid room. So if you are a member of three rooms that are free, the $14.99 gives you access to all of that. If you want to join a room that charges $14.99/mo, then your fee will pay 100% of that. So it's $14.99 monthly, not $14.99 + another $14.99 for the room. If the room is $25 then we will apply $14.99 towards that.
Both of these benefit leaders, while also doing right by the followers.
I am still working on a PDF doc that lays things out. Seeking feedback as always!
Please join the beta -- totally 100% free during beta!
