Hello. I trade the TF and stocks. I use Ninja. My mentors were Ted Warren and Burton Pugh. I have learned from many teachers over 20 years. I keep a Video trading journal and I constantly have breakthroughs on price action. I do better on stocks than the TF currently...but this will soon change. Every week brings more insight but not more cash. Hopefully this will change soon also. It will be nice to share and learn here on your site. Thank you for having me.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I am a novice trader, still learning, and have not been successful so far. I appreciate it if you can share your knowledge of your strategy, that would be a great help.
Hello everyone,
Blaster here, retired Navy EOD technician (bomb squad). I am interested in learning as much as I can about the market and trading. Everyone here seems to be dedicated, appreciative and helpful to each other. Which seems to be rare now a days. I hope to be able to add value to this forum as I learn
Thanks
Hoo yah
Hello everyone,
I have been in the market for about eight years. It was like something I did in my spare time. I am looking to get more serious now, and move from investing to something more like swing trading of stocks. One of my first moves will be to upgrade my scottrade account to something better. I am thinking of interactive brokers. Naturally, any advice is welcome.
Well i started trading since 1989 in stocks
got into the ES in 2005 Burned 3 accounts
Then started getting good at it.... i stopped and open a few gas stations in 2006
sold them and now back into the ES. And WOW things have changed!!!!!
So at this moment i have ninjatrader lifetime and i consider myself a novice at this now.
Thanks Big mike for having a website like this. I remember back in the day...the only way to get info was to
Buy books and learn at your own pace. i hope i get and also share info with everyone here and get into the
groove of things within time!!!!
So Hello everyone
hi have been trading futures for the past 6 years, and am finally able to start doing this as a full time job. hope I can get some help in coding and help other in coding and ideas.
Hi Mike and All
I can't clams to be a trade as yet. The closest I've come is to have bought shares in an oil company called GKP, on the recommendation of a friend. He assured me that my initial investment of £15,000 would more than double within six months. Here we are eighteen months later and my holding is worth £10,000. So not the best of starts. What this experience has done however, is introduced me to the markets and their earning potential, if skilfully traded!
What I also realised is that if I wanted to dig any deeper into this can of worms, I'd better educate myself. So I went looking for information on trading. My inbox is now full to bursting with offers of mentorship, courses and systems that claim they can guide me to untold wealth! All so enticing. I won't lie to you I have been very tempted by a few. Thankfully whilst doing my due diligence on the final selection, I found your forum.
The last thing I want to be is a 'Lurker' but at this stage what I know about trading ain't worth sharing. With your help I hope to change that.
From what I have learned so far, I'd like to get into day trading, but I'm open to suggestions.
Im under no illusion that it's going to be easy and I'm prepared to do the work.
What I would really appreciate is a little guidance. What I need to learn and what to avoid.
Enough of my rambling. Looking forward to learning from you all and who knows maybe some day I'll be able to assist some other poor newbie.
