Hey guys been here about 2 weeks just browsing and taking in all the site. So far there is a wealth of information on here and hopefully someday I can contribute. I have just paper trading for a few years trying to build up the capitol and knowledge to start trading live. I'm currently learning TA and was referred here by another member who swears this is the best trading forum on the net, So far I agree. Thanks for having me and see you guys in the jungle!

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I'm excited to explore this forum and learn more about EasyLanguage. I've already got a old-school trade strategy working for me right now, but I'd like to delve into the automated side of things. Hopefully I can learn how to build a good long-term trading program.
My name is Richard Long, I'm from Dallas,Texas USA. I've been trading for 10+ years with varied degrees of success. While I have traded everything from commodities to equities, I'm currently trading FX based on a manual system I found at Forex Factory. Having a programming back-ground I've embarked on automating the system and tuning it with matlab and or python. I've been interested in the matlab and quant info on this site and look forward to sharing what I learn.
My name is Sajid Ghori, I have started trading a year ago. Once of famous London based trading education provider got me in to trading. Like others out there I thought that I can be rich over night & trading is not difficult because price has only two direction up or down, so to guess it is not hard.
But I started loosing money & realized that I need to focus on advises from successful trader which obviously Trading Psychology & Money Management. I was lucky that I didn't loose lot of money, instead I stopped trading & focused more & more towards learning. Soon i became break even trader which was a good news.
Now I am learning a methodology called VSA (Volume Spread Analysis) which is the only underlying methodology every financial market works on. I will start learning about Market Profile / Order flow soon which are great tool to work with.
Hello Everyone,
I was looking for a group to join and found Big Mike's while looking for information on Netpicks. I get a few advertisements from them and they sound great but I did not see any proof of their claims so I went looking.
I started trading forex 4 years ago but this is the first forum I have joined. I traded a demo account for 10 months before placing any money into an account. I have never blown out a live account. My live account was slowly growing with a London broker but the US government forced all it's citizens to transfer their accounts to a US brokerage. My account continued to grow until the FBI raided PFG Best and closed them down because the owner used most of the client funds to keep his company running when it failed to be profitable. During bankruptcy hearings the federal judge took all of the remaining funds and assets and split it with all of the clients who had stocks and investments portfolios but refused to give any refunds to forex or metals traders. Short story, between the broker and the federal court my entire account was taken. I am now, once again, trading a demo account looking for a new broker. I am 67 years old and have retired three times but have a hard time staying retired. I trade because it is a challenge and a lot of fun.
Hello, My fellow Ladies and Gentlemen traders.
After the debilitating trading losses during Iraq War, I am trying to stage a comeback. I hope to learn a lot from you.
Thank you very much.
Best Regards.
Ive been trading for 2 years, always looking for new ideas and mentors. I just started doing this full time last year. If you have been trading successfully for 10+ years id like to talk to you.
I'm brand new to this whole trading/stock market arena. Just days ago I downloaded NinjaTrader and began playing around with it. My end goal is to learn about trading and all the different aspects of it and then utilize and create NinjaTrading scripts to create my own indicators for automated trading.
As it stands now, I'm extremely overwhelmed with all the data and details that I've been reading and trying to digest. Hopefully over time I'll get more understanding of how all this works.
