Hi, i've done it with export historical data from ninja /tick/minute/daily and import them in MC, works.. NT7-historical data manager => export; Import by quote manager in MC
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Hi Mike,
now I have a Trial for IQ feed.
but: how can I mix realtime for zenfire and iqfeed for historical. sorry for stupid question. I've added in quotemanager- tools datasources - my iqfeed login. and whats next ? ;-)
I can't test with ESignal, but it works with IB, I have volume on 1 Day bars.
About MC and its supported data feed, I also have some big problems with MCDT and MBT, live and demo account: the P&L is updated on the chart, but no more DOM or chart updating.
Very strange, and quite scary, when you see your P&L moving, but not the candles .
So, imho, at least for MBT, it's maybe too early to use this version of MCDT with a real account, but it's an Alpha version, so I'm confident for the future. I'm still testing it with MBT, I will let it run 24/24 until next Saturday on one of my VPS, to see if this "bug" come back again.
When you create the chart in MultiCharts use the 'merge' option on the instrument tab, then select one instrument (from quotemanger) for historical --- iqfeed if you want --- and then add a 2nd instrument for real-time (from quotemanager).
Personally I would just use IQfeed for both in this instance, but you can do it like the above, you just have to maintain two instrument mappings in quotemanager for each symbol -- one for iqfeed, one for zen. Another useful thing would be to have two separate charts of CL for instance, one powered by iqfeed (live) and one zen, so you can see the difference between the two.
Ok, I'm going crazy here. Hopefully someone can answer tell me how to do this. I'd like to display spread in the Market Scanner window. How is this done?
I figured out how to show it in a chart. Add 2 duplicates of the same instrument in the chart, make one bid and one ask and make them based on ticks. Then add a spread study based off data 1 and data 2. Great. But when I try the same thing in the scanner window is keeps giving an error about needing data 2. Argggh. Someone, know what I'm doing wrong?
Hello,
If anyone can tell me what is the display update time interval for multicharts dom or charts ?
I have NT7 and there is set to 0.1 sec update time interval.thank you
I asked them regarding refresh/update interval, and the rep told me that there is no adjustment that you can make (unlike NinjaTrader or Sierra Chart). It's as fast as possible according to him, but he did not give me the exact figure.
