Hello to everyone and Happy Fourth of July. Hope everyone has a safe holiday and enjoy it with your families. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Armando Baez. I recently joined Big Mike Trading Forum and I am a newbie by most standards. I joined Big Mike Trading Forum because I felt that if I am going to succeed in trading what a better place to learn and benefit than by making use of a Master Mind Community such as Big Mike Trading Forum. Trading could be a very lonely profession but by sharing and learning from other seasoned members this loneliness can be mitigated. New traders such as myself can learn a great deal from the experiences of other seasoned traders and avoid some of the pitfalls and traps that could be very costly to new traders while gaining experience. I want to develop good habits and I believe the community and the resources provided to Elite members can be extremely invaluable in attaining my trading goals. I am honored to be part of a growing community of like-minded traders whose objective is to be the very best in the craft of trading.
Hello fellow traders.....I have been lurking for a while here and thought I should post and introduce my self.
I have only been trading for about a year now....I'm looking forward to a great career in trading futures as I'm sure there are many on this forum. I know this forum has a wealth of information that I have all ready benefited from.
I have recently started a Top Step Trader combine and finally settled on a trading strategy that I'm sure will yield great results.
I am a student who has done a bit of trading on the side for a while now. The thing is, it's always been through my school's investment fund or on a paper account.
Now, I'm finally doing it with my own money. I'm mainly interested in teasing out statistical or mathematical relationships between securities, especially for commodities.
I have a good background in academic finance/ economics, computing, and math but know that there is more to trading than reading books. I would love it if someone could offer advice to someone getting started.
I'm looking forward to reading the forum! All the best,
Well I am a newbie here and just beginning to learn about Forex trading. I just opened
a demo account and I am finding my way around MT4 platform and the software. I think
its great that there are blogs like this one where beginners and seasoned traders can
share experiences, encouragement, share knowledge of how to program indicators and trading tips etc.
I won't be posting much at first because I am finding my way around this forum for now
and its taking all my time trying to learn enough to feel confident understand my trading
style and understanding money management. I see a few trading systems I seem to
gravitate to naturally unfortunately at this point I don't have the ability to purchase
a system yet or the knowledge to program one. Well hopefully once I get through
the learning curve I will be able to maybe help out some other total beginner with
an interesting post.
Happy Fourth of July weekend to everyone! Thanks ahead of time for all of your posts
and help! Happy trading everyone!!! --Garry
I've been trading for 7 years. That's basically all i do, It's taking over my life.
I primarily day trade US equities. Which is probably abit unusual around here. Most days i'm fairly active in the YM aswell.
I trade more old school, and use price structure as the basis of all my setups, along with angles that help find relationships between time and price( or points where time and price "square out"). I'm very reliant on MP style analysis aswell.
Always happy to meet new traders, I only know a handful.
I have some experience trading futures markets some years ago. Back then my approach was using cycles to plan my trades, think Walter Bressert methodology.
Anyway now I am interested in automatic programmed trading and considering either:
Ninjatrader and trading stock index futures
or
Forex with MT4
Just getting back to futures/forex trading after an absence of quite some years. Had my fair share of roller-coaster rides, but thankfully survived it all.
Googled to get the latest & greatest on futures trading ... found this forum & here I am :-)
Wishing all success in their trading.
ps. Would love to get in touch with traders familiar with Nikkei225 futures contracts.
