My name in Erwin, 27 and living in the Netherlands.
I have been trading for a couple of months now at the start it did'nt go to well, but now I'm making progress, altough slowly.
I have been reading trough the trading journals and I wanted to start one myself and that is why I have registered here one the forum. I hope this journal will help me to become a better trader.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I'm from Holland. Not new in forex, but new at Big Mikes. Hope to meet new people, improve my English a bit and learn about a new toy i just downloaded for trial: NinjaTrader.
Have been working and programming with MetaTrader4 and cTrader/cAlgo - i've been a software developer for years. My favorite platform is jForex, but that is only offered by Dukascopy and i prefer a broker outside of the EU (reason: taxes).
About me: analyst and modeller since 1983. Analysed just about everything: from administration systems to surgeon behaviour and more. Recently analysed the choices of some pro traders in order to semi-automatize their work. So: what they can do, i must do better ;-)
Recently re-entered share market - now I have time and a bit of cash to play with.
Focus is NZX. "Strategy" is currently a bit thin (but working).
Interested in developing a more systematic approach based on data feeds, technical analysis etc

Out of Denver. In my mid 20's I played around with trading stocks. I was one of the chosen few who assumed they would 'just get it' (as opposed to most who show humbled restraint and patiently learned), even though I wore my most powerful power suit and yelled a lot, I still lost more or less everything I put in.
Now I'm here to be patient and learn exactly what I'm getting into first.
After mucking about staring dumbly at the academy's and training courses, it seemed quite apparent that these guys made their money off of 'teaching' others rather than trading. The saying, of course, is if you can't do, teach, and if you can't teach, teach gym. And in the playground of Day Trading, there are a lot of folk running around with whistles around their necks.
Glad to be aboard. After considering several trading forums, it seems like this one has the most supportive and informative membership. I've dabbled with trading unsuccessfully about a year ago, and I've been studying trading for the past 2.5 years so I'm ready to jump back in carefully. Unfortunately I can't really find anyone in my immediate circle to discuss trading at length so I'm hoping to be able to do that with the community here.
Am from India, have been engaging with markets for past 3 years and gone through all the typical trader stories, hope, euphoria and nightmares. Still am struggling with my emotional self discipline but am slowly improving in this area too.
Hi I am from Sao Paulo, Brazil, a investor at Forex trading. Soon I will move to Malaga and I want to meet people outside internet, so let's try to meet each other in real world too.
