My Analysis is based on Market/Volume Profile and Auction Theory Approach. The ES opened at 1970, which is below previous Value Area (VAH 1983.50, POC 1975.50, VAL 1971.50); by context, the first hypothesis is back to previous value area. Between 8:30-10:00 am, the market develops value at 1974 area and built an 1978-1968.50 Initial Balance Range. In most of the sessions the Initial Balance is broken, so I expect a test at 1980. Later, the market develops value at 1978 and support an upside trend.
Later in the day, the market breaks Initial Balance High at 1978 as expected; and develops value in 1981-1983 area. At midmorning the market bounce again and finds a fair price at 1989, tests 1993-1994 and there is no follow through by the buyers creating a market excess. After, the market breaks 1985.25 Low Volume Node, so next target to the downside is 1981-1983 area. Finally, the market finds enough buyers to back to previous High Volume Node at 1989, just to close in this area.
It was a classic Trend Day to the Upside, the odds absolutely favored to the buyers.
Important levels of the day:
For Buyers For Sellers
1971 1992.75
1974 1989
1978
1983
1988
I think your MP analysis would receive a better reception in the thread Spoo-analysis
where there are many MP people.
Alternatively you could start a journal and invite fellow MP traders.
Having a trading journal is encouraged here at futures.io (formerly BMT).
I do not trade with MP and this journal is primarily about estimation techniques.
If you would like to continue to post MP in my journal, for some reason, please make a post that is predictive.
e.g posting before/at the opening of 30 Oct and posting that with the MP you estimate the high and the low of the day will be x and y and that the first move with be up/down.
