If you are not connected to real-time data the
DOM is always empty. If you are connected to a FOREX instrument the
bid and ask will not be correctly displayed but just the last trade. You may need to switch to the FX Pro tool
For futures and shares the DOM should always display the current best
bid and best ask. If you set Show Market Depth = true, it should display market depth as well, if you have subscribed for the data.
I have had no problems so far with NT7.
yes. the funny thing is if I start with lets say TF loaded in the dom, market depth is empty, but working for ES, YM, NQ, 6E etc. if ES is loaded when I connect, then ES is empty and TF, YM, NQ etc are working fine. really strange
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?

Nothing in the log tab?
You can chart the same instrument no problem?
Mike

(1) Delete DOM and open a new one.
(2) If (1) did not work, shut down NT, rename the folder Own Documents -> NinjaTrader 7 to NinjaTrader 7 Old and restart NinjaTrader. Does it work now? If not you can delete the new folder NinjaTrader 7 and re-rename the old one. If yes, you may now copy the contents of the old folder to the new one bit by bit.
(3) If (2) did not help, make a backup, then rename that folder to NinjaTrader 7 Old and then reinstall NinjaTrader. Now copy the contents from the old folder as you need them.

Step 4: Buy MultiCharts and put NinjaTrader in recycle bin?
lol. Oh wait, MC doesn't have a DOM yet! There went that brilliant idea.

Some data vendors limit the number of Level 2 feeds you receive. IB does not send more than 3.

Don't understand this. Do you mean
(a) you cannot get more than 3 levels on your DOM
(b) you cannot display more than 3 DOMs simultaneously
(c) you cannot display level 2 data for more than 3 different instruments
?

I have level 2 data for all of my instruments from IB, so (c) is not an option.

I deleted Ninja 7 from my computer today........I'm thinking it's NOT time.
When they release a version that is NOT beta I will reconsider.
