I've been trading sinse 2001 and started trading equities and have transitioned to options on futures. Happy to join this community and looking to bounce ides off of fellow traders.
Hello all,
I've been daytrading for about a month now, really just scallping. Most of the time I'm up, but the days i'm down just suck. I'm using options house which doesn't have very good charts. I'm curious if anyone uses a free third party volume and order flow charting software? I watched the webinar on scalping with jown grady and got alot of good info. Now I fell like I've been trading blind without those ladder charts. does anyone know where to get those live feeds for free?
Hello, i'm new here and thought i'd say some things. First i'd like to start with Nadex, because it's what i can afford to start with at the moment. I already opened a demo and a live with $300. In the demo i've lost over $5,000 mainly doing 5 minute binaries and hourly iron butterflies. I used something called trend catcher from a site called Apex Investing as well as watched the education and have thought many times to myself that it's not the system, it's me, so i kept trying and little by little kept losing money in demo (will not do live until success in demo is consistent).
I thought it was time for something new so i came across this forum while searching something and heard they have webinars and stuff that can really help people so i registered (i hope it's not just hype). Right now i want to focus more on the spreads and take in some education and some strategies through webinars and strategies shared on this site and elsewhere. If anyone knows of a good educational site for forex and indices, commodities futures for Nadex or just futures without Nadex that i can still use with great systems, strategies let me know because i will take a look. It can be a site with a payed membership too with good reviews, as long as it's in my price range i'll look at it with interest.
I'd also like to add if you know of any good books that can help my understandings of the futures, options market etc. let me know.

Why am I a moron. because I read warnings here about paintbar factory bought anyway thank god only $1100 then discovered how useless this software is. I started my trading career in 1986 lost all I had in 87. I am proficient in Elliott wave but find it's predictive valley limited at best. Still have a copy of preacter's 1987 newsletter predicting dow 6500. Unfortunately he was off a decade or so. Still admire his tenancity
Still loved trading after the above disaster but could not do so for lack of $. S I did it for fun to see how good I could be tracking the market along with my insurance license which helped keep the lights on.
I am too damn old to long term trade so I want to swing trade and day trade
