For example on Chart Trader allow a property to be added to each type of buy/sell button which sets a +ve or -ve offset for the order price. Such as BUY at current BID minus 1Tick.

call them hyper performance options
essentially, these are the ability (in theory) to take advantage of installation / operation tweaks easier than just going it alone and manually doing them
#1... ability to utilize RamDisk
this can be accomplished by licensing an existing product under the hood of the current Ninja executable, and including its features on the baseline....
this would require corporate dealing with one of the vendors of these ramdisk software(s) and having them explain how they implemented such features on competing products....
or
choose one of the popular or open source versions (see the threads on futures.io (formerly BMT) regarding utilizing RamDisk and Ninja)
delineate the steps to implement, operate, backup and shutdown
let's just absorb that one, and we can discuss the next suggestion on another post.
key benefit
adding more system Ram, and assigning at least 8GB for sole use by Ninja would do wonders to eliminate both poorly written code (indicators, third party indicators and such) as well as expedite recovery from run-aways that spool through memory needlessly.
use these features in conjunction with an SSD and no worries over performance and data lags, and massive data bursts (that occur around news events)
@NinjaTrader Will NT8 officially support the IB Gateway?
I get it working with NT7, but it's more like a hack. I would really love to have a simple not cumbersome way to connect to the IB Gateway.

presently if I share a template on futures.io (formerly BMT), that references 12 indicators, and the receipient machine only has 4 of those indicators installed, then somehow the template loads, but self destructs and drops reference to the remaining 8 missing indicators....
why?
why not:
1) provide simplistic utilities that first allow you to see the referenced components / indicators of the template before usage
2) prevent this destructive or self healing alteration of the template, when the condition of "not found" occurs
3) provide some notification that there are missing referneced indicators within said template
4) essentially protect the objective, concept and process instead of what happens now
You guys really need to give us something to chew on. Each passing day is a "sales" day lost to a competing product. I know it's not vapor ware. But even if you don't make the published release date, you are not held to scrutiny by the press like Microsoft.
