I have been trading stocks and mutual funds for many years and realized a large loss like many other investors during the recent crash. I made some changes to my approach and started taking an interest in options and had some very good success. I have since discovered futures and like them most of all. Very much looking forward to participating in a community of like minded traders, sharing thoughts and insights and encouragement.
Best to all,

Happy to join and hopefully will learn some new skills to get better at trading. I have traded for many years on and off but never profitable. So taking another dive and right now trading with sim account until I feel confident. Hope to learn from experienced traders. Just subscribed for elite membership.
Glad to be here. Tryinto to be disciplined this time after blowing up my account. I wonder if anyone recovered their money back or we just trying to make it up.
as most of you I'm kinda "new" (~2years) to trading and I'm 20 years old.
I decided to learn how to trade on my own because there is so much crap out there and I do not know who I can trust.
Nevertheless my trading is going well so far but I want to learn more about daytrading and futures because I only used higher timeframes (monthly, weekly, daily and sometimes 4H) in the forex market using supply & demand.
I trade futures using dicretionary methods and more and more often using self-developed automation tools. I believe that supply and demand moves the market and watch it via market microstructures and also intraday swings. Daytrading only.
I've been trading options for a few years, but I've only recently taken a deep dive into futures. I look forward to learning and sharing all I can here, and I'm excited to join a community like this.
My name is Smiley and I am an addict. I don't know how else I can explain being here on a Thanksgiving night. Could be Turkey and brandy wiped out my girlfriend and I am taking advantage of the opportunity. Nah. I am an addict.
I have been trading futures seriously for the least year, starting with Emini and now having moved onto Crude. My success is marginal with what I assume is a common theme. Lots of small wins undone by big fat losses. Still up on the year but its gotten harder of late.
Came to this site to steal some spreadsheets to track trading and am delighted to see the conversion to a futures site. Looking forward to sharing tales, tips, trades, and techniques with all of you.
Oh, this is day one with no trading. I feel good, surprisingly fatter and a bit sleepy. However, fully expect to be turning in my chip in the morning once the market opens. Good luck out there fellow travelers.
Welcome Smiley. I've been Sim for a year, will start trading in the new year. I highly recommend becoming an elite member and watching a big bunch of the recorded webinars available. Personally I'm into market profile concepts but use volume profile and auction theory etc. Like everybody, I guess, always trying to understand the market in a deeper way.
All the best, take good care. Aeolian.
