Many thanks for allowing me to join. Looking forward to learning how to trade properly based on the postings, feedback and guidance on this forum. I have traded FX before back in 2009 and lost money therefore gave up, but I have followed the market and still have an interest in learning how 'to' properly.
Kind regards,
So according to the message bar at the top of my screen, I have been a member for 1066 days but haven't posted anything yet. Wow...
Guess it's time to change that. Hi, I'm Jeff, and I'm a futures trader.
I currently trade mostly ES, CL, GC, and NQ. I consider myself primarily a trend trader, but I'm always looking to learn new techniques. I recently started a blog (who hasn't?!) where I'm trying to document my life and my new income sources since I made the decision earlier this year to quit my job. As part of my blogging, I am also sharing my trading results each month. If you want to check out my blog - it's in my "About Me" section since I don't have 5 posts yet and can't post links. If not, no problem - my feelings won't be hurt
Anyway, that's probably enough for my introduction post... hopefully it won't be another 1066 days until my next post!
Perhaps it is a rite of passage that every trader has to make mistakes like blowing up accounts. In my case I started trading the day the markets crashed back in 2008. So I can totally relate to anyone else who has gone through similar deleveraging. Another day I was trading the Japanese yen the day the tsunami hit after the meltdown from the nuclear reactor. I was scalping and fell asleep when all of a sudden the market exploded.
Looking forward to hearing from others, contributing learning and succeeding.
