i can't help you out with trying and coding because i have absolutely no programming skills.

I have put those bands around your yesterday oil chart.
I've been a fan of the cci for a very long time whether it's Woodies version or just the plain ole vanilla version that comes with NT. I'm using the one that comes with NT and have been for quite a while. Really don't need a lot of bells and whistles imo.
This thread is deviating, it was originally on Renko Bar Types.
But I always enjoy deviations, so let me add one more: There are two intesting indicator based exclusively on the CCI.
One is the trader's dynamic index, the other one is the CFG Momentum Ocsillator (as Andrew Cardwell calls it) or Composite Index (as Constance Brown calls it). The formula for the Composite Index has been published in a book, the formula for the CFG Momentum Oscillator is under Copyright protection. They are the same.
