Have you made some tests in order to assess which interval gives the most significant signals for the climax bars ? Also, how many signals like these do you find significant enough on average for an instrument like the ES or TF in a typical day ?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
When using better volume intraday there are two limiations
-> it does not give significant results for timeframes < 5 min
-> it cannot be fully used for the first ten bars after the open
This means that you can start using it on a 5 min chart after the initial balance is completed. On a 15 min chart it is difficult to use it during the morning session.
Here is a question to ponder: between the 'system' and the 'trader', how do you think that each contributes to profitability (e.g. percentage)? 80% system/20% trader? 20% system/80% trader? 50/50?....Do you think that a more sophisticated system (i.e. more indicators, better indicators) is the key to profitability? Or do you think that a better trader is the key? The answer should guide the priorities.
Do you think that it takes a excellent driver or an excellent car to win a Formula 1 race? I think the result will depend on both driver and car. It is not the sum of car and driver but the product of both that makes up for success.
Trading systems are like organisms that feed on the behaviour of other traders, so they need to be sophisticated, as they need to be both adaptive to ever changing market conditions and robust. Too many indicators can actually produce the opposite.
But a good trading system can be bought or put together quickly. You cannot easily buy the knowledge and experience to operate it, so the training of trading skills should be the focus.
I've had T3 for about 4 months now. Just wondering who else is using T3 and what have they done with it, maybe swap ideas.
Perhaps what others think of it as well. (all things considered)
Nexgen is the name of the company, T-3 is some is an education and an indicator package. It auto generates
Fibonocci lines as well as a few other indicators.
I've never heard of Tilson (you could explain some more
Oh sorry, I've never looked at their products so just assumed (incorrectly it seems) their T3 was related to what is commonly called the T3 moving average.
